Kennedy Agyapong: Only fools don't believe in God

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) lawmaker for Assin Central, has denied accusations that he is anti-Christian.

He denied reports in the media that he rejects religion.

The congressman made these comments while participating in the regular "Mpaebo Kasie" prayer service at Parliament Chapel International (PCI), where he was joined by the congregation and Apostle Francis Amoako Attah.

He repeated his claim that he had studied theology and was conversant with the Bible as he boasted about his training in religion.

"You're shocked that I'm using Scripture. Many pastors claimed that I am the anti-Christ. I believe in God; I am not an anti-Christ. I believe that anybody who does not believe in God is a fool. For me to sleep and wake up alone tells me God exists,” he said.

However, he stressed how much he detested bogus pastors who constantly work to instill fear in people in order to get money from them.

"I think they're bogus,"

Even the Bible warned us that false prophets would eventually appear, claiming to be God in the process. If you do not take care to find the right pastors and keep switching them out, your problems will not be resolved.

Kennedy Agyapong recently announced his intention to seek for the NPP's presidency in the upcoming elections in 2024.
