The Kwahuhene who doubles as the Vice Chairman for Eastern Regional House of Chiefs, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong ll, has urged the government to continue to lay out a comprehensive plan to support the automobile company of the Founder and Leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka to produce more vehicles for the African market under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.

Such support to the Kantanka Automobile Company, without doubt, according to him,  will help in retaining the gains made by the company locally and boost the agenda of the government to enhance the output of local industry towards local innovation, production and sustainability.

He pointed out the Kantanka Group and its leader deserve the commendation of all for weathering the storm and travelling this far in the production of vehicles that are currently in use by a number of institutions and individuals.

"We applaud the inventiveness of Apostle Safo and his group, we find innovative ways of making the business sustainable enough to bring the maximum benefit not only to the manufacturers but also the entirety of Ghana and the African continent.

"We are appealing to the government to continue to provide the needed support for large-scale production of the Kantanka vehicles not only for Ghana but for the African market.

"We must patronise his products locally so that efforts by the government to help the company can achieve positive results," made this foregoing call after he's completed his courtesy tour to Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka at his Factory recently.

He urged Media practitioners to demonstrate the purpose of their work in ensuring adoption of new technology in reporting positive to propagate good name for Africa and refrain from negative reportage that has the tendency of disgracing the country.

Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong ll narrated that, his Predecessor who was his Uncle Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng had a cordial relationship with Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

He asserted that he invited him to pay a visit to his factory and he expressed, his astonishment at the wonderful project Kantanka has been doing and therefore, entreated the Journalist to propagate his good works and desist from an irresponsible reportage just to gain Fame.

He lamented it is always suitable for media to tarnished and defame the Country's name with negative reportage and charge them to be proactive with good news.
  
He commended "Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, for his emerged contribution in training people with his vision, and therefore called on Government to be up and doing in adopting and Patronizing  Kantanka product to enable it to project MADE IN GHANA PRODUCTS."

Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong ll called on chiefs and other stakeholders to contribute to the company of the indigenous Ghanaian entrepreneur by way patronizing his products.

He advised media practitioners to guard against the practice of tarnish the reputation of the Country's name with bad News and propagate the Good News of Apostle Kwadwo Safo's KANTANKA products.
