The Kasoa-Emmanuel Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in the Central Region on Sunday September 11, 2022 organised a send-off church service in honour of Reverred, Mrs. Stephen Kofi Anarfi and the family.
The religious church service was attended by representatives of sister branches within the district and high profile religious and traditional personalities.
As the Man of God in-charge of the Kasoa Emmanuel Congregation, Rev. Stephen Kofi Anarfi did not only concentrate on the teachings and learning of the Bible, and praying and interceding on behalf of church members, but also engaged them in other activities which enhanced the living conditions of the members.
He imparted his know how in employable skills to a lot of people both within the church and outside, who have benefited tremendously from him.
Earlier, in a sermon, Rev. Stephen Kofi Anarfi admonished the congregation to have strong faith in the Lord to have a fulfilling life.
He said it was always important for Christians to have a firm belief in the Lord, 'because as children of God, we have a father who will never disappoint us.'
He thanked God for his four year duty post at Kasoa Emmanuel Congregation and also commended the church members for their support and prayers.
Rev. Stephen Kofi Anarfi noted that it was not easy to part ways with such a wonderful people, but was quick to add that the nature of the work was such that ministers were posted to other congregations from time to time.
