The Wife of the New Tafo Area Head, Mrs. Mary Antwi has opened up that believers must demonstrate love during festive seasons by reaching out to the needy to project the personality of Christ to those who have a different standpoint about the Christian faith.

She counselled that Christianity is not about favoritism but a family of uniqueness and equality in the body of Christ sent to possess the Nation as Agents of Transformation.

“Per the Church of Pentecost’s vision, it is our duty as members to Possess the Nation as Agents of Transformation which requires a demanding comportment in love towards our fellow. This means that whoever is a believer of Jesus is our brother and sister,” she said.

She revealed these words at the Cherubs Children’s Home on Monday, December 23, 2019 when the Church of Pentecost, New Tafo District Women’s Ministry presented items worth GHC 7,242 at Santasi Apire, Kumasi.

Mrs. Mary Asante speaking whiles donating the items to the Home took the honor to wish them a Merry Christmas and explained the role of the Women’s Ministry in the Church of Pentecost; a fellowship that reaches out to the needy and express the beauty of giving in times of necessity. She divulged on the needfulness of having the young orphans in mind and the obligation to involve them during Christmas hence the visitation.

“We have a few days to Christmas and as mothers, we cannot do away with children in this orphanage. That would ill-outline our characteristics as mothers therefore we have brought these provisions to help quench the hunger and thirst of our children in order to feel at home,” she said.
