Diana Hamilton discloses that she has never put any form of pressure on herself when it comes to winning awards.

The reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Award's Artiste of The Year explained that Jesus Christ takes care of everything about and around her so she can focus on music, so she is never worried about what she does or does not win.

This she said in her most recent interview with Andy a Dosty just after bagging the best awards over the weekend at the VGMAs.

“The love was palpable – the love was amazing – from the Church, the general public. My producer, King David said to me, “I see in the spirit that you’ve won four awards”.

“I knew Adom would win the Most Popular Song of the Year. Adom was the song. It’s not like it didn’t deserve it or anything. However, I was surprised Adom won that category."

Diana Hamilton also noted that she was expecting to win all, the awards she was nominated for because she knew she was a serious contender.

She sweeper all that were before her in the most prominent categories: Artiste of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year and Best Song of The Year at the 2021 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was held on Saturday, 26th June 2021 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

"I have come to realize that, whatever I get, I deserve it. I do not put pressure on myself. I have someone who tells me what to do – His name is Jesus."

"Pressure no dey. It’s just a responsibility. As much as we are doing this, God has other people he is bringing up. Never ever think that God has lost workers. The Bible says the workers are few. It doesn’t say there are no workers," she concluded.
