Eno Barony Is A Full Rapper - Sarkodie

Sarkodie has expressed his admiration for Eno Barony's rapping prowess.

The African rap god made a bold statement that Eno Barony is as good as any other male rapper in the country.

According to him, pundits must stop referring to her as a "female rapper" because it belittles the talent that she has by placing a feminine edge on it.

From his experience, anyone tagged as a "female rapper" can never be equal to her male counterparts in the same genre.

His sentiments follow Okyeame Kwame's comments, who placed Eno Barony up there with the very best rappers in Ghana.

Sarkodie, who is Ghana's most decorated rapper, noted that Eno Barony should be considered his equal when it comes to rap while speaking on the Akwaaba Talk Show.

“Eno Barony is like a full rapper. I don’t see her as a female rapper, I see her as an MC. When I say female rapper you can feel the feminine energy... rap has to be heard and Eno Barony is hard so I don’t see her as a female rapper. She is just a rapper,” he said.

"She goes in hard with the bars... the stuff she says, guys could’ve got away with that easy but she still does it. As rappers, we have our state of mind when we are writing and when I listen to her that’s what I see,” he said.

Okyeame Kwame practically said that Eno Barony is even better than any male rapper out there currently, including Sarkodie.

“Eno Barony is an amazing rapper. I think she is bar for bar, I don’t think there is any man rapping in Ghana who is better than Eno Barony. She is as good as it gets,” he said in an interview with Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD).

Eno Barony is set to go toe to toe with male rappers for rap artists of the year in the coming VGMA awards.
