I've been trying to work with Burna Boy on a feature - Mzbel

Mzbel, a singer from Ghana, has made suggestions about collaborating with Burna Boy, a star in Nigerian music.

I've been trying to work with Burna Boy on a feature - Mzbel

She claims that her staff has been in communication with the two musicians about a feature that is still in the works for a while. However, she is certain that the sale will be completed in due course.

This information was revealed by Mzbel during an interview with Amelley Djosu on Joy Prime's Celeb Biz program.

"I've been attempting to collaborate with Burna Boy for a very long time. I'm attempting to work with Don Jazzy whether I succeed in getting him or not. So, cross your fingers. They and I are in communication. Hopefully, based on how it appears right now, it is 70/30. Therefore, something involving Mzbel and Nigeria may be released shortly," she hinted.

The singer went on to list a few reasons why it's difficult for Ghanaian women to succeed in the music business.

She claimed that despite the fact that men predominate in the industry, women do not offer themselves for partnerships as frequently as men do.

She also described how her attempts to include other female artists had failed since they had not shown up.

Typically, we like to work alone. I have no idea why. I've made repeated attempts to recruit several female colleagues, but they always have an excuse for not showing up. But the guys will come if you call them," she replied.

The "Asibolanga" hitmaker, though, is certain that female singers have a bright future—but only if they are willing to be vulnerable and collaborate with one another, just like men.
