Rapper Trigmatic claims he hasn't had a popular song in more over five years, but he isn't troubled by that because he is also making money in other areas.

If I had focused solely on music, I would have been hungry — Trigmatic

Trigmatic, who is known for songs like "My Life," "Gye Nyame," and "Gimme That," said in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz that performing on stage is not his top priority because he is working on other projects that are also profitable.

"Jumping on stage is not right now's top priority for me. I know I'm on the correct track and I want to leave a legacy. I have a successful rice business, but I also do other things that bring in money. I'm glad I didn't confine myself to performing solely music at the time.

"Ghanaians will soon be aware of what I have been doing to behind the scenes. Something significant is about to occur, I recently met with Mr. Eazi of Nigeria and other major figures in the music business," he informed Graphic Showbiz.

Trigmatic, who spent four years working at Vibe FM and YFM, responded that radio was the last thing he would contemplate doing, regardless of the compensation offered.

"I couldn't continue working with them, so I left YFM. I've been waiting to work for myself, and I'm content with my current situation. But I've participated in a number of discussions on the music industry, and I frequently receive requests to speak about it from other nations. We're getting there gradually, but I don't think I'll return to radio, he told Graphic Showbiz.
