Gomoa Dominase Boils—As Aggrieved Youths Chase Potsin Polyclinic Workers Out For Medical Negligence
IT HAS emerged that there is uneasy calm between the aggrieved youths of Dominase in the Gomoa East District and workers of the Potsin Polyclinic in the Central Region.

The development follows the decision taken by the youths living at Gomoa Dominase enclave to stage a massive demonstration against medical workers of Potsin Polyclinic for medical neglegence.
The young men at  Gomoa Dominase pointed  accusing fingers at the media officers at the health facility for maltreating nurses of the facility and damaging equipment of the health facility.

They said after their medical negligence which resulted to the untimely death their colleague, Mr Wilson Krampah Ato, the officers of the facility boldly came out to lie to the general public.
It has emerged that about 500 youth of Dominase after the death of Wilson Krampah Ato on January 4, 2024 had invaded the health facility and maltreated health professionals and damaged items worth GH¢ 15,000.

This was after they were denied the remain of their colleague, Wilson Krampah Ato.
The demonstrators said the medical doctor of the health facility has called some media outlets and misinformed them about the incidence without prior information on what transpired.
According to the youth, the polyclinic in spite of medical negligence on the part of the medical officers that saw the death of their friend and colleague Krampah Wilson, again lied against them.
According to them, the information made in the public of the health professionals  was not the true reflection of what had happened.
Some inscriptions showcased on placards included "Potsin polyclinic or 'polykilling', why no doctors at night, we need answers to the deaths, Dada Ato take revenge, Insp Appiah must go and justice for Ato."
Some connotations of the inscriptions they said officials at the polyclinic payed less attention to cases emanated from Gomoa Dominase, what killed their colleague was negligence on the part of the medical officers and accused one Insp Appiah for making reference to a nine year old incidence that has no connection to the current issue.
