Update I Would Continue To Remember My Late Wife Until I Died ...Husband Of Killed Female Police Officers Cries Out

Narrating how he heard of his wife's death, Mr. Yeboah stated that he was saddled when the sad news of his wife was reported to him that she was knocked down by a car and she died at the hospital

"The last word my late wife told me was that when l want to go the work the following day l should wait for her to return home from her night police duty," narrated by  Mr. Francis Yeboah the husband of the Police constable Comfort Fabiri stationed at Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region has lost her life after she was hit by a speeding Toyota commercial vehicle with registration number GS 4746-20 while on checkpoint duty on Tuesday, February 2, 2022.
 
Narrating how he heard of his wife's death, Mr. Yeboah stated that he was saddled when the sad news of his wife was reported to him that she was knocked down by a car and she died at the hospital.
 
He added sorrowfully that he would continue
to remember his late wife until he was also called by his creator.
 
Addressing a crowded press conference today, Mr. Yeboah pointed out that when his late wife was about to leave to work in the night on Monday, February 1, 2022, she told him that he should wait for her in the morning to return home before he goes to work.
 
"So l did so but when l waited up to 5 to 6 am that she was not coming from her night duty, l wanted to leave to my work since she normally returns home 4:30 am or sometimes 5 am her as usual. So when l ranged her, she never my calls and l have become confused and l ran her telephone number several times but there was no response to my calls.
 
"In a few minutes, a certain man ran him to ask whether l am aware of what had happened to my wife and l say no. But he also refused to tell me what exactly had occurred to my wife and he hanged up the line.
 
"As l have become confused, l called her telephone number line again and a police officer picked the call and told me that she has gone to the nature call. In some few later one male police officer also called me via telephone and requested whether l have my wife's personal photo on my mobile phone so that l should send the photo to him," he stated.
 
Mr. Yeboah narrated that "And l told her him that l have and asked him what has happened but the officer never told me anything. Following this development l tried to suspect something and quickly l went to her workplace and asked of her and the police officers who were on the duty at the station had also not told me anything."
 
"So at her work, since l did not see her, it occurred to me that l should hire a motorbike and go to the Posts junction police checking point and that l told to hold on," he narrated.
 
He stated that they were in a relationship for so long until September 24, 2021, they legally and traditionally performed their marriage license to become couples
The Police constable Comfort Fabiri stationed at Gomoa Dominase has lost her life after she was hit by a speeding Toyota commercial vehicle with registration number GS 4746-20 while on checkpoint duty.
The driver of the commercial vehicle, Mr. Frank Anane 34, is in police custody assisting in the investigation. 
It was sad scenes at the family house of the late Police constable as the husband of the deceased cried uncontrollably. 
For him, the circumstances surrounding the passing of his wife will forever bring back memories as he continues to mourn his wife. 
The police management team led by COP Nathan Kofi Boakye visited the family house of the deceased to commensurated with them. 
The team later visited the crime scene of the incident to get better acquitted with the issues on the ground.
