Mason allegedly killed and dumped in the Okrudu river by unknown persons at Kasoa
The Awutu Senya East National Disaster Management Organisation director, Mr Kwame Amoah has appealed to the people of Kasoa to be extra careful because criminal activities within Kasoa is on the rise.

A man believed to be in his early 30s name given as Ben has been allegedly killed and dump inside the Okrudu river by unknown persons in American town, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region.
Speaking with Kwame Adu a yoghurt seller who lives in an uncompleted room with the deceased, he told that Ben woke up around 3 am but did not disclose his schedules for the day to neighbours only to hear that he has been killed and dump by unknown persons in the Okrudu River at 7 am.
The cause of his death is not known but all indications show he was beaten and later thrown into the river.
Blood was all over his body with his left hand broken.
Meanwhile, the Assemblymember for the American town electoral area, Honourable Shadrach Boakye Yiadom said they were in a state of shock about the incident and also called on the Kasoa divisional police command to extend their patrols in his area because the crime rate is becoming unbearable.
Also, the Awutu Senya East National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Director, Mr Kwame Amoah who was at the scene said, the body will be sent to the Accra Police mortuary for preservation.
He however appealed to the people of Kasoa to be extra careful and vigilant because criminal activities at Kasoa is on the rise.
