A FORMER National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Joshua Hamidu Akamba has expressed worry concerning the high rate of unemployment in the country of which president Akuffo Addo refuted to address during his two- hour State of the Nation Address.

According to him, the country is currently experiencing the highest level unemployment recorded under this current government.

He said the government has worsened the economic conditions in the country, adding that the incumbent NPP government has plunged the country into great economic and social distress.

He added that the inept NPP government ascended to the highest throne of the land on the back of mouth watering and fat promises, including creating sustainable Jobs for the youth which has been a fiasco.

Reacting to the President Akuffo Addo's address on the floor of Parliament, Mr Akamba reiterated that the bad living conditions of Ghanaians under the leadership of Akuffo Addo is unprecedented and he refusing to tackle unemployment is a clear indication that he doesn't care about the plight of the youth in the country.

He lamented that 7years into Akuffo Addo's administration the citizenry continue to grapple with unemployment and untold hardship.

He urged Ghanaians to rally behind John mahama and support the 24hr economy policy as it's an avenue to address and create more jobs for the teeming youth.
