I Want Peace In Dome Market; So I am Working With Previous Legimate Queen-Mother---Ga East MCE Declares
According to her, she never knew anyone like Madam Sebie as the Queen mother of the market and that she is only queen she has been working with to bring the needed peace unity and development to the market of the traders.

The Municipal Executive Officer (MCE) of the Ga East Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region, Honourable Elizabeth Kaakie Mann, has stated that the legimate and legally recognized Queen-mother of Dome Market she knows as an MCE since assumed office is Madam Evelyn Abena Sebie.
According to her, she never knew anyone like Madam Sebie as the Queen mother of the market and that she is only queen she has been working with to bring the needed peace unity and development to the market of the traders.
She mentioned that she has not recognized the rival Queen-mother of Dome Market, Madam Felicia Karley Okoe Amui who has been installed by her predecessor, Mrs. Janet Tulasi Mensah without recourse to the traders in the market.
The MCE asserted that since she didn't want any further trouble, being a peace maker, she chooses to work with the previous Queen-mother, saying that Madam Sebie is the legitimate Queen-mother of the Dome market, and called on the traders to accord her that respect for peacefully coexistence in the market.
Madam Felicia Karley Okoe Amui is not a queen mother of Dome Market Centre, my predecessor, Mr Janet Mensah Tulasi who installed Madam Amui the Queen-mother because the former MCE claimed that she has an issue with Madam Evelyn Abena Sebie and that she cannot work with her.
"At the time my predecessor is also selling at the Dome market, she said she has an issue with the previous Queen-mother and that since my predecessor said she cannot work with the previous Queen-mother and she used her executive power to install a new one in she capacity, what l think my predecessor to do is that she should have gone with the queen mother she installed in her capacity since she was no more the MCE of the Ga East Assembly.
"I must restate that it is not prerogative of the MCE to install a Queen-mother for a particular market centre in your capacity but my predecessor did so. This is not good to bring peace to the traders of the market, the MCE noted.
"So now the messed that she came to create in the market, l am trying to work with the previous legimate queen mother of Dome Market who was then in-charged of managing the affairs of the market before my predecessor came to install the rival Queen-mother because l don't want any further trouble," the MCE further stressed.
She held a strong view that "she can't work with two queen-mothers in Dome Market, so l have chosen to work with the previous legimate Queen-mother who has been installed before my predecessor came to install another one."
According to her, the changed of the previous Queen-mother in Dome Market has affected the electoral fortune of the New Patriotic Patty (NPP) in 2020 general elections which had made the NDC to accrue a good number of votes in the constitueny.
She pointed pointed that the problem her predecessor caused by changing the previous Queen-mother in Dome and install another one had made the NDC in the first time to attain a total votes of 29, 000 against 52, 000 votes secured by the NPP in the 2020 general elections.
"Though l am the MCE in the area, l am still working in the interest of the NPP and that l am not going to sit down for the people of Dome to use same problem created by my predecessor to vote against the NPP again in the upcoming 2024 general elections," the MCE re-emphasized.
The MCE was speaking in an interview with journalists to response to the allegations leveled against her by Madam Felicia Karley Okoe Amui who is parading herself as a Queen-mother of Dome Market.
On the allegations that she the MCE had caused damage to her hand, Madam Mann noted that it is not true saying that this are lies perpetrated by Felicia Karley Okoe Amui to score her points.
The MCE pointed out that she had an documentary video of Madam Amui which clearly showed that she never hurt as she claimed that "l made the police officer hacuffed her hand which has damaged the hard."
According to the MCE, the video has showed that anytime Felicia Karley Okoe Amui has dressed to go church or any public faction he wore the watch on the hand she claimed has wounded.
She stated that Madam Amui didn't know that we are aware that she was able to bandage the whole hand to create an impression that someone has hurt her, but l have video of her which showed that when she was leaving the house to church, she wears watch."
"We were also aware that anytime Madam Amui reaches the premises of the market, she then pretends like she has wound on her hand and she would remove her watch and quickly bandage the supposed affected hand.
"Everybody in the market can attest to the fact that l have done anything wrong to hurt this woman. So she should know that l am a smart politician and that nobody can intimidate her of doing her good job to bring the needed development and peace to the Dome Market. We want the peace in the market.
"I am truthful and loyal and l don't lie that is why when she starting destroying my name that l ordered police officers to hacuff her hand which caused a damage to her, all the people who got wind of the information have messaged her that she should not mind her, because they know her character," the MCE explained.
She mentioned the way and manner the person spoke in the video showed clearly that it was an aganda ostensibly to attack her.
She maintained that she cares for the development of the traders in the market and that there are no issues of maltreatment anywhere in Dome Kwabenya since she assumed office.
The MCE pointed out that she knows those who are behind Madam Amui to attack her but they would be exposed one day since she believes that God is in control of everything.
