I felt empty when I quit worshipping Christ; I have returned —Efia Odo

Efia Odo, a Ghanaian actress and socialite, has spoken about feeling dissatisfied when she stopped worshipping Christ at one time in her life.

I felt empty when I quit worshipping Christ; I have returned —Efia Odo

She described her childhood as profoundly based in Christianity, with principles that were consistent with the Christian faith.

The socialite said that her desire to seek God independently caused her to quit visiting church and eventually stop worshiping Christ, leaving her feeling empty.

Efia has now stated her intention to return to Christ and worship him seriously, regardless of people' opinions and criticism.

"I was born in a Christian home, I worshipped Jesus all my life. Yes, at one point I wanted to find God on my own and distanced myself from the church. I felt empty when I stopped worshipping Christ. Now I’m back in Christ and no one can convince me otherwise. If you think I’m brainwashed, then so be it, I don’t need to be saved,” she wrote on her X page.

Efia's statement came in response to a social media follower's inquiry regarding her religious beliefs and present faith status.

She also stated that she is a member of The Makers House Chapel. In other news, Efia Odo has condemned the popular "Kiki Challenge" craze, accusing players of disrespecting Christianity through their suggestive films.

In a post on Sunday, June 23, Efia Odo slammed the challenge, writing "That kiki challenge is a disgusting challenge. Do all the sexy shit yall want but leave Christianity and the church out of it. Yall not afraid of God and will do anything cuz it’s a trend."

The popular #KikiChallenge involves ladies video themselves dancing to Fuse ODG and Leftizzle's song "Kiki" outside before switching to more personal areas such as bedrooms.

Many of the videos begin with the women outside, dressed modestly and holding bibles, before the scene changes.
