Chiefs and residents of Gomoa Mpota in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region are lamenting bitterly over the lack of hospital facility in the area leaving them with poor health delivery.

According to them, since there is no hospital in the community they have converted their information centre into a clinic.

The chiefs and the residents furthermore stated that their population is about two thousand (2000) but there is no health facility they can have access to.

The residents are, therefore, calling on their Members of Parliament, Honourable Naana Eyiah and their District Chief Executive Benjamin Kojo Otoo to complete their ongoing hospital project for proper health delivery.

Speaking to the Media, the Secretary to Gomoa Mpota Association, Mr Daniel Duah, pleaded with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) for assistance for the completion of the ongoing health facility.
