Gabby steps in to save sinking Chairman aspirant; Buys vote of Delegates in Eastern Region

Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has stepped into the Eastern Regional Elections contest to campaign for Cudjoe Agyeman Boateng, an aspirant. 

On Thursday, he invited constituency executives and met them to convince them to vote for Agyeman Boateng, who many believe is far behind the chairmanship race. 

Otchere Darko is believed to have threatened constituency officers who are appointees of government to lose their jobs if Jeff Konadu wins the contest. 

Amazed at the meeting, many executives wondered why the last-minute attempt to sway the election. 

He gave out 10,000 Cedis to each constituency to influence delegates to vote for Agyeman Boateng.
