The Techiman South National Patriotic Party has held its annual delegates conference.

Attending the conference was the Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Honourable Martin Agyei-Mensah Korsah, some of the Bono East Regional National Patriotic Party Executives, Constituency Executives of the party within Techiman South, and members of some selected electoral areas i.e Dwomor, new Dwomor, Dentenso, Hansua and Bamiri electoral area.

The main agenda of the conference was to trash out some issues within the party and also come out with a formidable strategy that will help the NPP to achieve its current objective of "breaking the 8"

Addressing the gathering, the Bono East Region NPP Chairman, Mr Thomas Adu Appiah, popularly known as Chairman Tooman, tasked all members of the party to fight for unity among themselves as " a house divided by itself can not stand".

He applauded the Techiman South NPP executives for maintaining the peace and unity among the party since the year 2018 to date.

He emphatically appealed to members of the party to try as much as possible to avoid any internal conflicts and approach 2024 with one common goal of breaking the 8. 

In the same vein, the NPP Bono East Regional Secretary, David Boakye reveals that as part of the various elections the party will be reopening membership registration.

He revealed that National Executives of the Party has already provided the needed logistics needed for the registration and it will commence soon.

Mr David Boakye disclosed that, from January 2022, the NPP will organize the polling stations elections, the electoral areas elections will be conducted in February 2022, in the month of March 2022, the constituency elections will come on while the Bono East Regional NPP will be held in May whereas the National elections will be in June 2022.

He further urged all members of the party to partake in the membership registration as they will be given out new party cards which will be totally different from the old cards hence the need for new members including already card bearing members to get involved in the registration.

"However, each party member must provide a witness to testify that that person is indeed an NPP member". He said.
