The Founder of the Ga Dangme Group, Hejole- Hewami, Mrs Awaayo Tettey-Mire, has called on the chiefs and other traditional office holders in the Ga state to collaborate effectively with the strategic investors to help bring the needed developmental projects and programmes along with the coastal and shore areas in the region.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews, Mr Tettey-Mire explained that the chiefs have an important role in facilitating development in their communities.

"Therefore, they need not sit on the fence and talk, but rather, create cordial relationships with Investors and Ghana tourist authority as development partners to bring innovation at the coastal areas and beaches that would help improve the living conditions of the people in the Ga state."

For his part, the Anyaa Mantse, Nii Charbukwei III stressed the need for innovation and rehabilitation of the shores and beaches for income.

He assured the chiefs are committed to working together with investors and Ghana Tourism authority for the accelerated development along with the Ga State.

"Many projects can be done at beaches and the shores to facelift for education and Tourist attraction to generate income for the country and the city at large," Nii Charbukwei III noted.

He, therefore, called on all Ga Chiefs to unite as one people by rising to take up the challenge that beheld development in Ga state.

"We must demonstrate our lobbying skills on developmental projects to beautify the coastal areas for Tourist attraction in order to build a strong foundation for the future generation on development.
