Fulfill your road promise-Kobedi Asupra Kyidomhene to President Nana Addo

The Kyidomhene of Kobedi Asupra in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region Nana Kwasi Twumasi is appealing to President Nana Addo to fulfill the promise he made to rehabilitate the deplorable roads in his community.  

According to Nana, the NPP led by president Nana Addo in their 2020 campaign promised the two communities Kobedi and Asupra that, they will fix their roads when voted into power.

However, President Akufo-Addo seems to have forgotten about the pledge hence his concern.

Stressing on the sufferings his people have been going through due to the deplorable nature of the road he said drivers have stopped using it because of its bad nature and that's compelling residents of the two communities to depend on the tricycles and motorbikes as their source of transportation to nearby communities.  

Touching on other challenges facing the communities, Nana Twumasi said, Kobedi/Asupra is fast-growing and people from other communities and other philanthropist are bringing many projects to the community hence the extension of electricity will help the community to develop.

He blamed the lack of development in the communities on the lack of telecommunication network extension as business owners do not want to risk the capital in investing in a community without stable electricity.

The Kyidomhene, however, called the government to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.
