Fresh SHS Students Undergo student Registration exercise in the North

Today 6th of April 2022, students who passed the basic school certificate examination and have gained admission to various senior high schools across the country were expected to report to school and register as freshmen, like any other year.

The hustle was up again in the Northern region, the story was not different as some parents say the analog process is too frustrating.

Some parents this morning accompanied their wards who have gotten admission into the various Senior High Schools on their first day at school while they went through the usual registration process. 

This has become necessary over time as a result of the last-minute buying of required school items. 

At the Tamale Senior High School, some parents complained about the slow pace of the registration and therefore charged the school authorities to speed up the process.

“If the school authority can do something about the situation, we came here not now and the process is not helping at all, they should improve the system”.

Some of the schools visited by Soireenews included the Northern School of business, Vitin Senior High, and Kalpohini senior High School.

They however expressed happiness about the abolishing of the double-track system.
