RESIDENTS of Upper Manya Krobo District of the Eastern Region have described as political propaganda machinery and deceptive the Year of Roads" launched by the President Akuffo Addo/Bawumia New Patriotic Party (NPP)government.

They indicated that some major roads within the area are in the terrible state that drivers have a hard time plying such roads.
They added that the Upper Manya Krobo constituency is of no exception, saying that it was more of deceit and rhetorical than actual implementation.
All the feeder roads leading to the District capital are yet to see any single rehabilitation from the Central government
Sources have indicated that the Eastern Regional Department of Feeder Roads has made available a grader to the District Assembly for the road rehabilitation exercises.
However, instructions from the powers that be want the road rehabilitation in the district to begin when the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Upper Manya Krobo constituency launch his campaign for the 2024 general election.
