Vardy has become the first player to win two penalties and score two penalties in a PL game since Milan Baros following his hat trick in Leicester’s 5-2 win against Manchester City.

It was Manchester City who took the lead through Riyad Mahrez against his former club, four minutes into the game in his 200th League appearance.

Justin cleared De Bruyne’s corner from the left which fell for the Algerian on his weaker right foot, to the right of the box around 15 yards out, he slammed it on the half volley into the top left corner giving Schmeichel no chance.

Leicester retreated as they gave Man City the chance to dictate the pace of the game. Eight minutes to finish the first half, Vardy was awarded the penalty after he was fouled by Kyle Walker in the box.

The English forward blasted home the penalty on the top left and Ederson was just under it.

Leicester came out stronger in the second half and as the Citizens, defensive fragilities kept getting exposed.

The Foxes were awarded a second penalty after Vardy was brought down trying to get to the other side of Garcia from Barnes' ball.
