Los Angeles Football Club and Ghanaian forward, Latif Blessing says he is ready to offer his services to another country if Ghana is not willing to offer him a national team call-up.

Latif was the top scorer in the 2016 Ghana Premier League with 17 goals and also won the Best Player Award in the same campaign.

The former Liberty Professionals player, was named in the provisional Black Stars squad ahead of the 2017 African Cup of Nations under former coach, Avram Grant. Since then he has been kept off radar by the coach of the Black Stars.

Latif has played for Sporting Kansas City and now playing for Los Angeles FC and has scored 14 goals in 82 matches between then and now. Putting a very good performance continuously in every game, he is really not happy for not being invited by Coach Kwesi Appiah which is making him consider playing for another country.

In an interview with Los Angeles FC on the teams official facebook page, He said; 'Not getting a call-up is a difficult thing to deal with and sometimes, I feel disappointed'.

“I know that I am playing well but the invitations are not coming through. People in Ghana have been asking why I have not been playing for the national team but then, I am waiting for that invitation. I believe that there are better times ahead.

He added; If Ghana is not ready to give me a call-up, I will play for another country that wants me. I need to move forward as a player. Off the United States give me a call-up, I will say yes to it. I am working on getting my passport and documentation that will allow me to stay here and play.”

Latif Blessing has helped his team to booked their tickets in the CONCACAF Champions League after they won their divisional title in the Western Conference of the MLS.
