Embattled Asin North MP Storm Parliament to Lobby Electricity for His People.

Responding to the MP's question, the deputy energy minister indicated that, the above communities do not form part of the ministry's ongoing projects.

The member of parliament for Asin North  Honorable James Gyarkyi Quezon who is currently facing prosecution at the law court over dual citizenship subtly enters the chamber of parliament to ask the minister of energy when electricity will be extended to some communities in his constituency.

Mr. Gyarkyi Quason asked the minister for energy what steps the ministry is taking to connect the following communities in the Asin North constituency to the national grid; Canaan, Tatarekwanta, Aninkragya, Kyeikrom, subinso, Dwenakyir, Yitey Hold Coast camp, Kokwado, Krofofordo, Adawukawku  Adu and Agbodza

Responding to the MP's question, the deputy energy minister indicated that, the above communities do not form part of the ministry's ongoing projects.        

he said, the communities have been noted and will be considered for the national electricity y grid in a subsequent phase of the electrification project.
