On Saturday, November 18, 2023, recording artist and entertainer Edem, along with other musicians, put on an exciting show at Ho Jubilee Park.

Edemfest in Ho had a sizable attendance

The event was called Emefest, and it was a fundraiser for Dreamchild, a non-governmental organization that is fighting to build five pediatric hospitals across the nation, including one in the Volta Region.

The event went late into the night, drawing a sizable crowd that included the Agbogbomefia of Asogli, Togbe Afede XIV, Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), and Divine Bosson.

The Hoodtalk Music Festival, Virtual Hub, and Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG) collaborated on the performance.

To assist the flood victims in the Tongu areas, Edem has already traveled to Mepe, Battor, and Sogakope in collaboration with the agrobusiness Fertagro.

The event on Saturday, according to Edem's publicist Nana Yaw Wiredu, was also held in remembrance of the flood victims.

On that particular night, Tinny, Epixode, Jupiter, and Kelvyn Boy were among the artists who performed on the same stage as Edem.

According to an overjoyed MCE, who estimated that 15,000 people attended the performance, the presentation was moving and appropriate, with a strong focus on the welfare of children.

Mr. Bosson stated, "It is only fitting that our children have their own hospitals, to avoid them contracting infections from adults at the same facilities."

Mr. Bosson praised Dreamchild for its noble aim to serve humanity and future generations, and he reaffirmed the assembly's unwavering support for any project that serves the interests of children.

Togbe Afede XIV praised Mr. Bossman highly for his ongoing engagement with the community and asked the residents of the municipality to help him take Ho to new heights of development.
