Eastern Regional NDC Secretary Hopeful,Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi Celebrates Birthday By Donating  Water, Rice, and Fresh Yogurt To Akwadum Christian Village

To celebrate his birthday on July 8, 2026, the Aspiring Eastern Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi, has donated water, bags of rice, and fresh yogurt to the needy children at the Akwadum Christian Village, near Koforidua.

According to the lawyer, he chose to donate the items to the children because they are in need, and he deeply cares for the underprivileged in society.

In his address to the moderator of the village he stated that "we are guided in life by very profound statements and adages which says that "the life of the poor is painful", and biblical statements in which the Lord says that "if you do it for your brother you have already done unto me your Lord," and other very wise sayings which admonish us to take care of the poor, the needy, and the underprivileged in society and by so doing the Lord Almighty will also see kindly to us.

By such motivation and wise sayings he decided to do the little he can to support his unfortunate brothers and sisters at the village so that they too will say that God has listened to their prayers the way we all pray to God and hope he'll also listen to us.

Lawyer said that he decided to add Fresh Yogurt to the items instead of the usual soft drinks so that the children can also have something different from what many people usually donate to them.

The items were well received especially the Fresh Yogurt since most of the children were happy to have that.

The lawyer, who hails from the Okre /Okere Constituency in the Eastern Region, noted that he accompanied a friend to visit the children at the home some years ago. 

He realized it was his personal responsibility to also demonstrate love and care for the children, which led to his decision to donate the items.

He pointed out that this was his first time using his birthday to present items to those in need, and he pledged his commitment to continue doing so every year to celebrate his subsequent birthdays.

Furthermore, the lawyer called for public support for the needy children in society, especially since they do not have parents.
