Duncan Nsoh Ghaneba Is The Perfect Replacement For Upper East Regional NDC Chairman

A development practitioner and former Regional Director of Education for the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr. Duncan Nsoh Ghaneba, has declared his intention to contest the Upper East Regional chairmanship of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), calling on delegates and party faithful to vote massively for him to secure victory in the party's upcoming executive elections.

Mr Ghaneba stated that he is the ideal successor for Upper East NDC chairmanship.
He has outlined a ten-pillar focus area to drive his core philosophy: "Making our 15/15 more meaningful to UER and All Party Faithfuls."
The NDC firebrand stated that his decision to enter the race was reached after extensive consultations across all constituencies in his beloved region.
Speaking in an interview with the Soireenews.com, Mr Ghaneba has outlined key visions, structural party reforms, and strategic plans for the NDC across his political career
According to him, the contestants in the race for the NDC executive positions must move beyond just winning seats to ensuring that our collective electoral victories directly empower, reward, and transform the lives of the grassroots and executives who bleed for this party.
He has given assurance when voted into power by the delegates of the NDC, his administration will act as a critical catalyst to enhance development and political growth.
He stressed that "we will respond proactively and favourably to all projects, programs, and initiatives organized by our MPs, MMDCEs, Council of Elders, Chiefs, and local development think tanks.
Under this cooperative framework, he reaffirmed that his leadership will focus on these twelve core pillars, which aim to achieve:
Grassroots Empowerment: Transforming our 15/15 electoral success into tangible development and welfare opportunities for all party faithful.
Project Completion & Advocacy: Ensuring that all government projects initiated in the Upper East Region are robustly monitored, championed, and completed in a timely manner to serve our people.
Constitutional & Executive Autonomy: Ensuring that all elected officers work in accordance with the specific mandates of their offices, operating freely without fear, coercion, or intimidation.
Financial Transparency & Recognition: Guaranteeing that all contributions from party faithful and financiers are duly recorded, disclosed to relevant stakeholders, and properly acknowledged.
Youth Development: Empowering the youth through strategic mentoring and scholarship opportunities to build the next generation of party leaders.
Multifaceted Women’s Empowerment: Supporting and uplifting women through diverse initiatives that elevate their socioeconomic and political standing.
Traditional & Institutional Collaboration: Partnering with the Regional House of Chiefs and allied institutions to actively address regional challenges and foster sustainable development.
Inter-Regional Collaboration: Building political synergy among regional party executives across the northern belt to solidify a united northern bloc for the NDC.

He was a member of the PDC and the CDR, as well as a senior cadre of the revolution. He possesses the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders, duty-bearers, clients, and team members alike.
Mr. Ghaneba holds a Teacher's Certificate 'A', an Advanced Diploma in Social Studies and Mathematics from the University College of Education, Winneba (UCEW), certificates in Business and Cultural Studies as well as Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, a Bachelor of Education and an MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), and an MPhil in Education from UCC.
