Dormaa West DCE Inspects Distribution Of Cocoa Fertilizer

The District Chief Executive (DCE)for Dormaa West District of the Bono Region, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Opong on Tuesday August 9, 2022, inspected the distribution of cocoa fertilizer to farmers in the Dormaa West District.  

The DCE urged the farmers of Kojokumikrom, one of the communities in his District to make good use of the subsidized fertilizer so that it will boost their yield. 

He reiterated the government of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo's commitment to assisting cocoa farmers to improve production. 

Hon. Francis Kwadwo Oppong said this is the first of its kind that a government is supplying  80,000 bags of fertilizer to the Dormaa West District of which about 45, 000 bags have been heretofore received. He however advised farmers not to sell the fertilizer but to use them for the intended purpose. 

Mr Oppong was accompanied by Mr. Emmanuel Akuamoah Boateng, (Community Extension Agent, COCOBOD) Mr. Samuel Kambigs,( CEA/ CODAPEC Coordinator), and some party faithful.
