The Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the President, Alhaji Aliu Fawaz, has on the occasion of the beginning of the Ramadan fast presented several food items to the Muslim community in the Northern Region, his home region.
The donation which includes several bags of rice, sugar, cooking oil, tinned tomatoes, and other beverages was presented to the Northern Regional Executives of the NPP by his Assistant, Timtooni Progress.
The items were received by the Northern Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Alhaj Rashid Salifu popular known as 'Rashid COP'.
As customary of Dagbon demand, Alhaji Fawaz Aliu made similar donations to Chiefs, Imams, Party Elders, Women, and Youth groups across the region and beyond with the primary aim of helping them during this holy month of Ramadan.
He used the occasion to urge the Muslim community to continue to pray for the President of the Republic, his government, and the nation at large.
The recipients of the items expressed their appreciation to the Deputy Chief of Staff and prayed for Allah’s continued guidance for him and the entire government.
