Kwahu Tafo Chief Donates Food Items To 500 Aged 
The Chief of Kwahu Tafo in the Eastern Region, Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll, has donated food items worth GH¢100,000 to aged in the Kwahu Tafo Community.

The items included bags of rice and live stock fowls.
 Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll distributed the items to at least 500 elderly people as part of the Christmas Celebration in the Kwahu Tafo Community of the Eastern Region.

According to Nana Opoku Mintah ll, Christmas is a time of giving and caring for those who don’t have to make them happy in the society.
It is  the duty of the fortunate ones, to cater for the needy persons to show love, hence his decision to support the aged in the society,"

The member of the aged who received the items from Nana Opoku Mintah ll, expressed gratitude to the Chief for the gesture and wished him God blessings and said the items would be of great benefit to them.
Some beneficiary also expressed, their grateful to the Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll, for remembering them by mobilising the aged between in the Kwahu Tafo Community.

In a related development, the Kwahu Tafo Association of North America, US and Canada also presented 50 streetlights through the Chief of Kwahu Tafo, Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah ll, to improve security in the area to reduce crime rate.

The Assistant President of "Kwahu Tafo Association of North America, US and Canada, Mr Jake Ameyaw who handed over the items to the Chief of Kwahu Tafo, indicated that, they had already provided  streetlights, and it was not sufficient for distribution to the Kwahu Tafo community and its surroundings.
They decided to donate extra 50 streetlights in addition to help keep the community safe on their businesses.
