Following the UK's announcement last week, Denmark has stated that it is in negotiations with Rwanda about relocating asylum seekers there.
Denmark, which has enacted increasingly stringent immigration laws over the previous decade, passed a rule last year allowing refugees to be sent to asylum centers in a partner nation if they arrive on Danish soil.
Human rights activists, the United Nations, and the European Commission all slammed the action.
At the time, Denmark was unable to identify a partner country.
