Florbela Malaquias, the sole female presidential contender in Angola, cast her ballot and advised voters to leave the polls immediately after casting their ballots rather than remaining there.

Seven men, including the incumbent Joo Lourenço, are standing against her for the presidency.

The 63-year-old attorney and former journalist are running for office under the banner of the Humanist Party of Angola.
