Central Region Zion JHS: Parents protest Against Headmistress transfer

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Parents Association of Gomoa Nyanyano Kakeraba zion JHS, Nana Okyeme Fauster Adom Dugah pleaded with the government and the Minister of Education and the District Director of Education Gomoa East to bring back Mrs. Hilda Antwi Bosiako to hold her position as Headmistress of Kakeraba zion JHS.

The Parents Association of Gomoa Nyanyano Kakeraba in the Gomoa East district central region protested Against Headmistress transfer. There is more in the following Report by Soireenews.

According to the aggrieved protesters, Mrs. Hilda Antwi Bosiako began as a headteacher for the school and was later promoted to the Headmistress position.

Registering their displeasure, the angry parents revealed that, there has been a tremendous improvement under her leadership, and with that, the transfer can create a Lucana for the school.  They said.

" We positively believe, if Mrs. Hilda Antwi Bosiako is maintained, the school will chalk a lot of success .she has taken certain developmental projects which have raised the hope of all students and parents"

The stressed that she always ensure the smooth running of the school.

According to the chairman, the Headmistress was a very hardworking woman and she has helped the school and students since she started her work at zion JHS.

He also hinted that the entire parents Association doesn't like the new one because the old one has done a lot for the school.

She use her own money to buy 10 bags of cement for the construction of a new school block and also rented tents and chairs for the students to learn under.

He pleaded with the government and the Minister of Education because as of now the students are learning under a tree which is not fair.
