Angry Residents at Netro, a suburb of Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality on Thursday, January 14, 2021, demonstrated against the Municipal Chief Executive of Mfantseman, Kenneth Kelly Essuman and a road contractor who has left their gutters hanging leading to the death of a two-year-old baby.

Residents in an interview with Central Regional Soireenews correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, explained that the baby drowned in a gutter which has been abandoned by the contractor for some time now.

They angrily disclosed that Honorable Kenneth Kelly Essuman has been given a two weeks deadline to compensate the family and make an assuring promise about the hanging gutters before enraged to completely destroy the project to prevent the threat it poses.

The annoying part according to Mr Andrews Arhin, an opinion leader was how the MCE buried the lifeless baby without the notice of family.

He has appealed to the Mfantseman MCE to come to the aid of the victim's mother with compensation else a massive demonstration will hit the streets towards the Municipal Assembly to cause mayhem.
