The Asikuma Odoben Brakwa New Patriotic Party Constituency held its Constituency delegate conference in 3 different towns, Breman Asikuma, Agona Odoben and Breman Brakwa in the Central Region.

The theme for this year 2021 Constituency delegate conference is 'Uniting Our Base To Recapture The Parliamentary Seat'.

Speaking to Central Regional Soireenews Correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, the NPP stalwart, Fred Oware told the youth in the NPP to have patience with the government when it comes to employment in the country.

He said the delaying of employment in the country is caused by the novel Covid-19 pandemic. The youth should never blame the Constituency party executives for this current unemployment rate in the country.

He believes at the end of Nana Addo's term, there will be changes with regard to unemployment. He continued that, he believes the names of the MMDCES will come out. 

The representative from the region, Mr Anthony Sackey was worried about how the NPP Parliamentary candidate was lost by 2,721 votes difference whiles the presidential, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo - Addo won by 7449 votes differences. He said all was caused by a misunderstanding at the party.

He pleads for unity and togetherness to capture the Parliamentary seat in 2024 in addition to the presidential. 

Speaking to Soireenews, the Constituency Chairman, Mr Bruce Dompson said, the misunderstanding in the party during the 2020 election time has been resolved after the elections through the NPP Regional Chairman, Mr Robert Kutin. Mr Dompson also advised the residents that he does not recruit security services. It is only when you qualify.
