A member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Linford Asamoah, has claimed that the Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars, Otto Addo, may or may not stay in his position, based on reports obtained.

According to Mr. Asamoah, these reports will be compiled by the Technical Team and Management Members, and this will determine whether or not the Head Coach will remain.

"We can say a lot about it until the completion of the qualifiers, then we will utilize that as a deciding factor," he said.

After a spirited performance against Nigeria on Tuesday at the Moshood Stadium in Abuja, Ghana qualified for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.

Ghana thought a score draw would be enough to earn their berth in Qatar after the first leg ended 0-0 in Kumasi.

Thomas Partey scored the game-winning away goal in the 10th minute to stun the Super Eagles in front of a large crowd at Moshood Abiola Stadium.

However, Nigeria equalized when a contentious penalty was scored by William Troost-Ekong.

After qualifying for the World Cup finals for the fourth time, Ghana held its ground admirably.
