Harry Kane would be Manchester City’s target if the Premier League leaders are unable to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

The departure of Sergio Aguero after the season strongly links the 20-year old Norwegian on the radar of Manchester City but the backlash of Mino Raiola on Pep Guardiola means a move for the forward could be tough if the two parties do not settle their differences.

Real Madrid, Manchester City, United and Chelsea are racing for the signature of the former Salzburg forward who has 45 goals in 46 matches since signing for Dortmund.

The Times has reported that the Citizens are weighing their options to garb Harry Kane to the Etihad should their quest for Haaland fail.

The Spurs captain is although advanced in age than Haaland yet his impact of a proven record in the Premier League with 160 goals in 234 appearances since he made his league debut nine years ago is key for Guardiola.

He is contracted until 2024 and that means Spur will demand huge money from Guardiola’s side.
