Odion Ighalo has affirmed his love for Manchester United once again.

 The Shanghai Shenhua loanee says he is committed to the course of getting the opportunity to play for the Red Devils once again.

The boyhood United supporter had his loan extended until January 31, 2021, after the initial expired on May 31. Ighalo has scored four goals in eight appearances for the Red Devils and is willing to live up t the required standard to uplift the image of the Old Trafford club.

"I'm really happy," Ighalo said.

 

 

"It's a dream for me to be here. I'm buzzing and ready to go. Since the first day I arrived, I made it clear that I wanted whatever it takes to continue that work. Like I've said, since I was young, I've been supporting this club and playing for it is a dream.

"Now I've extended my loan, it makes it more even clear and I'm committed as I know, in my head, I'm here until January ending.

"I just want to work hard and enjoy it, support the team, and do whatever I can to make us go higher and higher."

According to the 30-year old Nigerian, he is ever prepared to help the team whenever he is brought on to play. He also disclosed that the squad is getting used to the new conditions imposed at the Aon Training Complex.

 

 

“I can't wait for the league to start again. I'm really looking forward to it,” he spoke in an MUTV Group Chat hosted by Stewart Gardner.

“We did mention today there could be 15-16 games left before the season is finished and I know everybody should be ready because no matter who starts the game, we know everybody is going to take part in the games.

“So we have to be ready, physically, and mentally, because everybody is going to get a chance. We're working hard and I believe we're going to do great.”
