Speculations of Erling Haaland moving into the Premier League next season have been heavily dismissed by his agent, Mino Raiola.

The Borussia Dortmund forward is strongly linked with Manchester United and City and reports claimed that Pep Guardiola is strongly monitoring the progress of the 20-year old as a replacement for Sergio Aguero, who will leave the club at the end of the current season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer relationship with Haaland’s father who was his former Norway international teammate Alf-Inge, at Molde is key in acquiring the services of the young forward yet Mino Raiola has dismissed every iota of speculation revealing that the bossy attitude of Ferguson and Pep Guardiola towards agents to be submissive to them led to closing the chapter for any of his players to join any of the two clubs.

Linking the transfer of Paul Pogba during the time of their former manager, Alex Ferguson to his personal row with Pep Guardiola, Mino Raiola is not interested in giving out his player to either Manchester United or Man City, and Haaland is one of them.

"When Ferguson criticized me that was my biggest compliment anybody could give me," he told in an interview with The Athletic.

"Ferguson is used to people coming in and saying 'yes sir'.

"All I have to say that when Ferguson left Manchester United the club's owner, by buying back Paul Pogba, told me that I was right. I didn't want to take Pogba away. It was Ferguson who didn't believe in Pogba.

"So when Ferguson says 'I don't like him', it's the biggest compliment that I could have. It's like saying Sepp Blatter says 'I don't like him'. Fantastic. I don't care what Ferguson says.

"As for Guardiola, I've closed the book already a long time ago. Everybody knows what I think of him personally and he can say what he thinks for me personally. I think he's a great trainer and that's how it is.

"I will not shut up for anybody. I'll give my opinion. I think that it is my right.

"With Ferguson or Guardiola, I have this problem, and I think that it is changing now, that they believe we should submit to them because 'otherwise, tomorrow, you don't do a player with Manchester United'.

"I don't give a f**k if I never do another player with Manchester United.

"I'm not in their hands. I'm independent.”

"We have only one party that we take care of: our players. As long as our players like us, you do what you have to do.

Erling Haaland has scored 45 goals in 46 matches since signing for Dortmund and is being tracked by Real Madrid as possible suitors.
