Central Region:Our DCE works for Eugene Arwen, not the constituency.

Angry residents of Awutu Bontrase in the Awutu senya West district are disappointed in their district chief executive, Hounrable Joseph Aidoo, for abandoning the work that the president chose him to do for the Awutu district and instead of working for Eugene Arhen, the Director of Communication at the presidency, to become a member of parliament for the Awutu senya West constituency. 

Residents are urging President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to summon the district chief executive for other duties. 

Residents claim that whenever the area's member of parliament, Hounrable Gizella Agbotui Tetteh, starts a project, the district chief executive summons Mr. Eugene Arhin.

They claimed this while a member of parliament was building a durbar ground for Bontrase, but the district chief executive followed Mr.Eugene Arhin's lead and built the same durbar ground on the same site in Bontrase, which is incredible. 

They claim that this is not the first or second time that the District Chief Executive, Mr. Eugene Arhin, has done so, and that the president should summon him for another appointment before a crisis erupts in the constituency. 

They told Soireenews Reporter central region that the District Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Joseph Aidoo, and Mr. Eugene Arhin intended to cut sod for the Bontrase durbar ground, which the member of parliament had already begun to construct. 

Meanwhile, Hounrable Nathernel Aidoo, the Assembly representative for the Awutu Bontrase Electoral Area, expressed surprise at what the district chief executive is doing with Mr.Eugene Arhin, who is attempting to demolish the MP's proposal to establish their own. 

He went on to say that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo should summon the district chief executive before a conflict erupts since the DCE is not working for the Assembly.
