Caterers at Sefwi Bekwai senior High school complain bitterly about their salary

Caterers at the Sefwi Bekwai Senior High School have complained bitterly about their salary conditions despite the unhealthy conditions related to their line of work.

According to them, they do not receive their salaries through the bank and this has denied the school from paying insurance gears.

They have since made several meetings with the management to fix them on payrolls and pay insurances as well so that they can also go for loans from the bank should anything happen.

“Some are given 390gh whiles others receive 350gh which is not helping “, they added

They have, however, given a two weeks ultimatum to the management to pay them through banks and pay their insurances.

They have threatened a strike and a demonstration which would help the preparation of food for the students.

Lamenting about the health dangers associated with their work, they have reserved a plea to the management to hear them out and immediately consider their demands.
