Bono: NPP Organizer describes former president Mahama's thank you tour as needless

Constituency organizer for the New Patriotic Party and NADMO director for Banda District in the Bono Region, Mr. Basheru Adams Hassan has described the thank you tour by former president John Dramani Mahama, as needless.

According to him, the former President's just ended thank you tour was full of lies and outrageous comments.

Lambasting Mr. Mahama, the NPP Organiser said the former President should highlight his vision for the nation, and stop trying to make the government unpopular in the eyes of Ghanaians.

“I have been monitoring his nationwide thank you tour from afar and I could clearly see that former President Mahama and his NDC have nothing new to offer the nation because, we expect him to outline his vision for the nation”, he said.

Mr. Hassan emphasized that President Nana Akufo-Addo's government has performed well, and achieved a lot through the implementation of realistic social intervention programmes.

“It's time we move away from politics of lies and outrageous comments and rather concentrate on building a better nation for all. If the NDC has any social intervention or poverty reduction strategies, then this is the time for former President Mahama to highlight them. Other than that I don't think his thank you tour was necessary” he added.

“We now have a progressive government which Ghanaians can attest to.” he stressed.

Mr. Basheru advised supporters of the NPP to guard against complacency and publicize the achievements of the government, particularly at the grassroots levels to empower the voting population to make informed decisions and vote for NPP in 2024.
