Be Careful When Helping A Ghanaian - DKB Warns Over Akuapem Poloo’s Matter

DKB has replied to Akuapem Poloo's scam claim by immediately reporting her to the authorities for defamation.

Akuapem Poloo had claimed that the comedian had not given her a Cedi from all the money he raised for her, seemingly suggesting that DKB has played her and her sympathisers.

This came after DKB had publicly announced that Akuapem Poloo had asked him to help her raise funds while she was in custody.

“Hey everybody, Rosemond is looking good, she is feeling fine,” DKB said in a video posted on his Facebook page.

“When I went to see her; I told her to give me your momo number let me give it to the people and also your bank account for someone to donate more than 1,000 cedis,” DKB had said.

DKB has now replied to the accusation by labelling Akuapem Poloo ungrateful and a defamer.

He expressed his pain that someone he tried so much to help had betrayed him in s statement published by Ghanaguardian.com.  

"On Thursday 29th April at 10:08 am, I received a call to check out my name being tarnished on social media by Akuapem Poloo(Rosemond Brown).

"I duly went online to find her making degrading allegations against me that I had hoarded a 4,000 (four thousand ghana cedis) meant for her, sent by one Mama Alice.

"I haven't received any 4,000 cedis and I don't know any Mama Alice. I find these very false allegations that have caused me a lot of humiliation, disgrace and undermining of my integrity,"

DKB subsequently took to his Facebook page to upload the photo of his complaint to the police on the matter.

"You can either be ungrateful or a defamer, but you decided to be the 2. I swear on every sweat, blood and insults I've received, the extent to which I went to support is the same extent I'll go to drag you over this"

"It go over you. Be careful when helping a Ghanaian. I'll really regretted everything"
