Awutu Senya West DCE In Fresh Trouble
According to the women, they couldn't understand why the DCE will commissioned a dilapidated market shed with leaking roofs.

Market women at Awutu Breku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region have expressed their disappointment at the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Joseph Aidoo.
According to the women, they couldn't understand why the DCE will commissioned a dilapidated market shed with leaking roofs, saying that the actions and inactions of the DCE amounts to complete negligence and lack of due diligence.
The DCE on Wednesday April 19, 2023 commissioned three market sheds at the Bereku market in the company of chiefs and some traditional leaders.
However, market women at Bereku, angry over the move said, the assembly had ignored issues bordering them to rather commission what they termed as "three bedroom market."
They said the roofs over their heads are full of holes leaking each time it rains.
"We the market needs safe to keep their goods after close of work but instead of focusing on the relevant matters, the DCE hurriedly commissioned the market with leaks all round," they noted.
They have however called on the assembly to provide them with the necessary development for the market.
