Ashanti Regional Police arrests One Robbery suspect, 3 others dead
Three dead as one person is arrested in connection with Buokrom Estate robbery.

Police in the Ashanti Region on Thursday, November 4, 2021, carried out an operation that led to the death of 3 suspected armed robbers and the arrest of one person.
The police acted on a tip off that some suspected armed robbers were plotting to attack a businessman at Buokrom Estate.
The Regional Police Anti-robbery Taskforce Personnel mounted a search and screening operation of all vehicles entering the estate. During the search, the four suspects who were in a car attempted to fire at the police.
The police fired back injuring three of the men who later died from gunshot wounds at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. One suspect in connection with the attempted robbery was arrested.
The Police retrieved from the suspect's vehicle a pump-action gun, one revolver pistol, one locally manufactured pistol, one dagger, two black hoods, two pairs of scissors and a number of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis.
The Police wishes to thank persons who assisted in the ntelligence gathering process on this incident and also commends the Ashanti Regional Police Commander and his team for their relentless effort in fighting robbery and other violent crimes in the Region.
