Arsenal will not sign Dani Ceballos on a permanent deal.

The Real Madrid loanee has made 30 appearances for the Gunners since his move to the Emirates. The midfielder was behind Arsenal’s FA Cup semi-final qualification following his late goal against Sheffield United on Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Ceballos agreed to a short term-loan with Arsenal until the end of the season amidst the coronavirus break.

Per a report filed by The Sun, Mikel Arteta is not convinced with the midfielder’s performance and a permanent deal is off the radar when the season ends.

Ceballos was acquired from Madrid by former Gunner manager, Unai Emery after he was deemed as 'surplus to requirements' in the Bernabeu.

In an interview with Spanish Radio, the 23-year old attacking midfielder made intentions known that should Arsenal decide not to revise his loan deal, an option to Real Betis is certain.
