Another Driver Has Been Shot Dead On Atebubu-Yeji Road
A driver by name, Alhassan transporting people to Yeji was shot through the windscreen by armed robbers.

Fear and panic have gripped the People of Sene East, Sene West, Pru East, Pru West and Atebubu Amantin of the Bono East region over rampant Highway robbing.
Almost four months, 7 people have been shot dead.
On Tuesday, July 14, 2021, around 3 pm, another driver whose name was only given as Alhassan with a car registration number AW 4099-12 was shot dead on Atebubu-Yeji road while carrying some traders to Yeji.
Family mourning the deceased
Speaking to the District Police Commander for Pru East and West, DSP Eric Peda Awiadem about the robbing incident, he said they had a call yesterday at about 3: 00 pm but on reaching the scene, the robbers had already escaped.
The body of the deceased was taken by the Police to the Yeji mortuary as investigations are ongoing.
