Anglogold Ashanti commissions Obuasi Enterprise and Skills Development Center
It is to serve as a one-stop hub to provide solutions to local businesses and to support skills development and capacity building.

Anglogold Ashanti Ghana, Obuasi Mine has commissioned the Obuasi Enterprise and Skills development centre.
The centre which is jointly established by Anglogold Ashanti Ghana and the Obuasi Community is at the former Anyinam Club.
It is to serve as a one-stop hub to provide solutions to local businesses and to support skills development and capacity building.
It has a multipurpose conference/ training centre, a business centre, 8 mini-meeting areas, a fully-equipped leather workshop, a fully equipped industrial sewing centre, a bead making centre and a hand sanitiser production centre.
The Managing Director for Aglogold Ashanti Ghana, Mr Eric Asubonteng said, the centre was established to enhance entrepreneurship in the Adansi district.
Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah was impressed with the establishment of the centre. He promised to support the developmental project anytime he is called upon.
