Aggrieved residents of Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region have allegedly accused the Odikro, Nana Esell Amoaquadoh for squandering public toilet funds in the area.        

According to the aggrieved residents, if the chief fails to render appropriate account to the community, he would be compelled to step down without hesitation.

"He has sold almost every asset the community can boast of just because he is the chief. Residents expect him to do what is right," an inhabitant of the community told.

"Since his enstoolment in 2014, he has never spent a night here. it tells us that he does not have the interest of this community at heart and we must have someone who can help progress this town because he is not affected by what goes on wrong here,' another added.

"Meddling toilet funds meant for development is bad. I was supposed to be the chief but for some reasons, I rejected it for him to succeed. We thought he would humble himself as a leader yet he seems proud of his actions. Things are getting worse and I must step in a take up the mantle.

Meanwhile, the Obaatan of Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba, Nana Kwesi Otoo has challenged Nana Esell Amoaquadoh to render public accounts of the toilet funds to the entire Fetteh Kakraba entire community since he began keeping the monies.

Also the Odikro for Fetteh Kakraba, Nana Essel Amoaquadoh has denied allegations levelled against him for misusing the public toilet money at Fetteh Kakraba.

He has promised to investigate and arrest anyone involved in embezzling the community public toilet funds which are purposely for developmental projects in the community.

"I am not in charge of the toilet funds, he said in an interview on Power FM news.

"Anyone involved in misusing the community toilet money is blocking development and I will investigate and help retrieve the money from people involved."
