Domeabra chief accused of selling portions of cemetery

He admitted selling parcel of land to a private developer to put up a hospital, but was quick to add that it is not the land in contest.

Chief of Domeabra Nii Atofoase I, has been accused of selling portions of land allocated for community cemetery. The Asafoase Nii Kwao of Domeabra in Ga south Municipal and residents have heavily criticised the chief and has cautioned him to put a halt to the practice.

According to the residents and the Asafoase Nii Kwao, the Domeabra community are worried and angry about this act by Nii Atofoase I.

They added that they will do everything possible within their strength to stop the chief from selling more lands.

The Chief, Nii Atofoase I, denied the allegations levelled against him during an interview with Soireenews.

According to  him, the people have no proof of the allegations. He rather pledged massive development in Domeabra which includes quality health delivery, portable drinking water, a quality education system and many more.
